Support Black Charities (SBC) is an Ontario-based incorporated non-profit, trusteed by CAMDA Sports Foundation Canada that holds an official federal charitable status. SBC is dedicated to the upliftment of the black community globally. It connects small and medium-sized black charitable organizations (including non-profits, grassroots, NGOs and community -based) with supporters in the black community as well as allies. It is an online portal that connects Black-led and Black-focused charitable organizations to supporters in the community.

SBC worked with GiveLife365 to address data silos and enable them with a more consistent, responsive and efficient approach to constituent communications. Givelife365 provided SBC a centralized data repository with automated business processes for managing their constituents and revenue along with streamlining the business operations. SBC now has a new modern web portal with improved user experience and better managed online directory of its members.

Managing operations across different systems, their old process to manage membership was manual, tedious and time consuming. Scattered constituent data and a less responsive website interface affected the impact of its mission and vision.

Built over the robust Microsoft Power Platform, GiveLife365’s solution helped SBC to streamline the process of gathering data into a common pool and format for efficient analysis. With Microsoft’s enterprise level data security, the donors and members information are secure. Givelife365 provided an efficient membership and association management system, a fundraising application.

An augmented web portal implementation featuring modern and secure webpages was built for frictionless on-boarding of new members and increased online donations. The automated workflows enabled SBC to send the right message at the right time thus strengthening its relationship with constituents.

A better and secured website design assured their constituents of data protection building increased support and associations. This approach allows them to align the requirements of the registered, black-led non-profit organizations, individual donors and businesses on its portal.  Adoption of Givelife365 has also improved the efficiency of SBC by decreasing the operational cost substantially.
